Core Group is a professional, commercial and retail fit-out company operating from Newcastle, in the North East of the United Kingdom.  Core Group offers complete end-to-end services including design, supply, installation and after-care of all products associated with commercial and retail fit-outs. We’re a friendly company, operating across the United Kingdom, and we have experience of delivering solutions for clients with geographically separated locations, including those operating internationally.


Throughout Europe and Middle East Core Group have worked with some of the leading brands in refurbishments/fit-outs in high class stores on high streets, shopping centres, airports.

Nearly all our clients are blue chip companies ranging from Samsung, Selfridges, Ralph Lauren to Newcastle United.

We supply all our clients with a one stop shop, we provide a single point of contact who will see the project through from design stage to the final handover stage. We organise weekly site meetings throughout the fit-out process to keep our clients updated with progress and get our clients input on completed stages.

Our experience and tendering process ensures the project is delivered to a competitive budget by professional retail fit out contractors. We can manage all local legislation for you (such as fire regulations and local approvals), producing plans, M&E layouts and drawings as required.

Designed to remove the traditionally ad hoc nature of store maintenance, retail response enables a strategic approach. We’re experienced in completing large-format graphics and signage installations to the highest standards within challenging timescales. Operating across many different countries, our team are accustomed to working with high-profile customers and managing delivery within service level agreements.

Before installation work commences, we can provide any design and technical advice you need to make your project a success. During project delivery and after completion, our reporting and project management processes ensure total visibility for your team.


Many companies now have multiple store locations and need to keep updated on all. You might need to have each location photographed inside and out and the data sorted in the site audit software we use. You might need to get current visibility of how many fixtures you have in a certain area, and what condition those fixtures are in. It may be a simple case of checking that the visuals and fixtures have been fitted as requested.

If you need to gather any type of information from your field locations, Core Group has the ability to gather this data within an agreed budget.

We can also provide accurate site drawings through our network of surveyors we have worked with all over the UK.


Our project managers deliver each project onsite through, methods, knowledge, skills and experience to achieve the project objectives set out. Each project is unique and requires it’s own individual planning strategy to achieve project completion to the standard expected.

Our Project Managers will:

  • Manage the onsite works – weekly visits undertaken to ensure stages and standards are met.
  • Program manage.
  • Finance manage.
  • Administration – compilation of final certification.
  • Assist any onsite issues with turnkey solutions.
  • Project audits.
  • Final project snagging.


We hold and store point of purchase display stock for a range of clients. Once your displays are ready for distribution and installation our controlled warehouse will receive the containers directly from the manufacturer. Our experienced team will collate, pick and pack ready for planned installations.

Utilising years of experience in the logistics industry, and using sophisticated software, we will plan the most cost effective and efficient routes for your roll out. All your displays are handled exclusively by your dedicated installation team using our own fleet of vehicles.


At Core we are aware that most refurbishments will be required to be carried out while the stores remain open to the public or out of hours. With this in mind we know the least amount of disruption to customers and speed of turnover will be key drivers in the process.

Proper planning will ensure successful delivery of project within the agreed timescales. Our full trained and qualified employees are experienced in working in such environments making it a smooth transformation for both the client and customer.

We have carried out re-branding and store refreshes of stores floor by floor with our customers with works carried out on time and within budget.


Store Merchandising is the set of actions that are carried out with the merchandise to be sold in a retail store. The goal of these strategies is to boost merchandise sales through the design and organization of store spaces, merchandise selection, etc.

When planning the purchase of products, we have to think about the needs of our customers. We put at your disposal the products you expect to find on the shelves.

In addition, a plan to set the merchandise will have to be designed. In the same way, it will be necessary to take into account the possible plans of the competition, the objectives to be fulfilled, the pricing of the items as well as the offers and discounts available.

Digital merchandising includes all promotional actions carried out digitally to sell a product online. From email marketing actions, such as SEO, SEM … Every digital marketing strategy is part of it too.
